The electronic vignette in Slovenia was introduced on 1 December 2021. Drivers welcomed the change very well, as it made travelling to southern Europe even more convenient.

In Slovenia, the toll system mainly covers motorways and some motorways. Electronic vignettes are for vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes gross vehicle weight, including cars, motorbikes and camper vans (see the FAQ section at the bottom of the page for a detailed description of the categories).

The Autopay system allows you to purchase a 7-day or 30-day electronic vignette to drive on toll roads in Slovenia. Current prices for vignettes in Slovenia can be seen on the website: mobility.autopay.eu.
You can buy vignettes or section tickets for Austria with Autopay online on the website, but it is more convenient to purchase them directly from the Autopay app.

Yes, you can buy an electronic vignette even on the day of departure. The process of generating the vignette is very fast and usually within a maximum of several minutes the vignette is sent to the e-mail address provided during purchase. If you do not see it - check the SPAM folder. In exceptional cases it may take longer than usual to purchase a vignette. If you do not receive your vignette within an hour of purchase - please contact us.
The .pdf file with the electronic vignette will be sent to the e-mail address you have provided, so please make sure that you provide a correct and currently used e-mail address. If you have used the Autopay app to make your purchase - the vignette will also be visible in your account in the app (just log in).
