How do I buy a sectional ticket to Austria using Autopay?

    Go to https://mobility.autopay.eu/. Select "section ticket" in the menu.

    Select the section you want to drive.

What is the automatic sectional toll FLEX (tunnels and bridges)?

FLEX is a free service that allows you to pay an automatic sectional charge only after you have driven the route (without having to stop at toll stations) - following the principle: drive first, pay later.

The toll is charged to the connected card according to the applicable toll for the section in question. You can start the service in the Autopay app.

FLEX for cars

If you are travelling by car - choose special lane for electronic toll. On it, the registration numbers are only read from the front.

The lanes are marked in green.

FLEX for motorbikes and cars with trailers

If you travel by motorbike or car with a trailer - choose a Lane open to all vehicles. Give your registration number to the person collecting the toll or to the attendant who will appear when you press "Help" on the machine. One or the other person will check that the fee has been paid and raise the barrier.

Using the FLEX service, you can pay for journeys on all six chargeable sections.

Important!

In the case of the A11 Karawanken motorway, the toll for the section in the northern direction is collected by the Slovenian motorway company DARS. Tolls are paid at the Hrušica toll station in Slovenia.

Sectional tickets are valid on the following roads in Austria:

  • A13
  • A10
  • S16
  • A11
  • A9
    • Bosruck tunnel
    • Gleinalm tunnel

Using the service https://mobility.autopay.eu, you can buy season tickets for any of the sections listed above. The ticket is valid for 365 days from the date of purchase.

Autopay is an authorised dealer, licensed by ASFiNAG.

Attention: The S16 Arlberg Expressway (between the St. Anton am Arlberg and Langen am Arlberg junctions) will be closed for repairs, i.e. from 15 April to 22 November 2024.

Yes, it is possible to change the data shown on the stub ticket. To do this:

  • go to https://mobility.autopay.eu/
  • enter the e-mail address to which we have sent you the section ticket and the ticket ID (you will find this in the e-mail you receive from us)
  • edit data (you can only change the vehicle registration number)
  • confirm changes

Toll prices in Austria change at least once a year, so the currently applicable sectional toll tariffs are displayed during the purchase process after selecting the relevant product.

Yes, the section ticket can be returned up to the day it was due to take effect. The following conditions must be met:

  • ticket purchased by an individual customer (not a company)
  • the ticket was purchased in the last 14 days
  • the ticket has not been used

Yes, you can receive an invoice for the purchase of a vignette or section ticket. For this to happen - declare that you would like to receive one and fill in your invoice details. You can do this during the purchase of the selected product.

Using Autopay, you can buy vignettes for Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland and Hungary, as well as pay section tolls for driving on toll road sections in Poland.

FLEX is a service that allows you to pay the automatic section toll (for tunnels and bridges) only after you have driven the route (without having to stop at toll stations) - according to the principle: drive first, pay later. The toll is charged to the connected payment card. The FLEX service can be activated on the Autopay app.

Important: if you already have a valid toll for a particular registration number (e.g. a single journey), no settlement via FLEX in the app will take place (the toll will not be charged twice).
