The A2 motorway, runs from the German border in Świecko, through Poznań, Łódź, Warsaw to Siedlce.
There are 2 toll sections in the A2: Świecko - Konin (managed by AWSA), Konin - Stryków (managed by GDDKiA).
There are two tolling systems on the A2 motorway: e-TOLL (the government's electronic tolling system) and toll points, i.e. traditional gates (in the Poznań-Konin section operated by videotolling with Autopay).
Important!
Have you received an email with a request to pay for the concession section of the A2 motorway? Beware - it may be an attempt at fraud! Autostrada Wielkopolska does not send calls for payment by e-mail. If you receive such a message, do not click on the links and always verify the sender's address.
Using Autopay, you have full control over your payments. You can always check the status of your transactions directly in the app under the "Transactions" tab or in the user panel.
Take care of your safety - trust only verified sources!
Important!
The A2 section Konin - Stryków is covered by the government's e-TOLL system - as of 1 July 2023, travel for vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes is exempt from tolls.
The A2 motorway toll depends on the section you are travelling on and the type of vehicle. Below are the billing forms for individual sections and the toll amounts for category 1 (two-axle motor vehicles).
A fee of 120 PLN is charged for driving the entire section of the private A2 motorway (managed by AWSA) Swiecko-Konin.
Świecko - Poznań
The section is to be paid for according to the price list available at the website of the operator of this section of the Motorway. It is paid for traditionally at the gates by card or cash. The cost of driving the full section is PLN 52.
A closed toll system applies here, meaning that you only pay for the entire distance travelled.
Poznań bypass
The Poznań bypass is free for all vehicle categories.
Poznan - Konin (automatic payment with Autopay)
From 15.01.2025, videotolling is available on this section and you can pay your fare automatically with the Autopay app (see how to activate automatic payments).
The open system applies here (similarly to the A4 motorway), which means that tolls are collected after crossing a given gate and not the entire section (for example, if you pass through PPO Lądek - PLN 36, and then through PPO Nagradowice - PLN 36, the system will collect toll on both gates, so you will pay PLN 72 in total).
Tolls are collected at 3 toll stations:

The A2 motorway is partially tolled. Tolls apply on the section from Świecko to Konin, which is managed by the private company Autostrada Wielkopolska. In addition, there is a toll on the section Konin - Stryków, managed by the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA), where the e-TOLL system applies. The section from Stryków to Warsaw and from Warsaw in the eastern direction (Siedlce) is toll-free.The section of the motorway near Poznań from the Poznań Zachód interchange to the Poznań Wschód interchange is also toll-free.
The cost of driving on the A2 motorway depends on the section and vehicle category. Tolls are collected for the section Świecko - Konin and Konin - Stryków. In the section managed by Autostrada Wielkopolska (Świecko - Konin) payment can be made traditionally at toll gates, and in the section Poznań - Konin using the videotolling system. For example, a passenger car (category 1) costs about PLN 120 for the full section from Świecko to Konin. The Konin - Stryków section is covered by the e-TOLL system, where the cost depends on the vehicle category and the toll collection system (as of 1 July 2023, the toll for vehicles under 3.5 tonnes is exempt).
On the A2 motorway, tolls apply on two sections:
The Stryków-Warsaw and Warsaw-East sections are free of charge, as is the Poznań bypass.
The majority of campervans available for hire are vehicles with a maximum permissible gross vehicle weight of 3.5 tonnes, i.e. they belong to category 1. Driving a campervan on the toll section of the A2 from Świecko to Konin costs approximately PLN 120 (as of 2025).
There are several ways to pay on the A2, depending on the section:
NOTE! From 31.07.2023 until further notice, drivers of cars, motorbikes and vehicles and convoys with a maximum permissible weight of up to 3.5 tonnes are exempt from tolls on this section. For information on how to pay the toll for heavy vehicles, please visit the system's website eTOLL.
There are 5 categories of vehicles on the A2 motorway:
The above categories are used to calculate tolls on sections managed by concessionaires, such as Autostrada Wielkopolska on the A2.
You do not need to have your phone with you or turn on the app. If you have previously activated the Autopay service for A2 Motorway, the toll will be charged automatically - the camera system will read your vehicle registration number. Important: you cannot change your account settings during the toll, such as deleting your vehicle or changing the payment method. Remember also that the opening of the gate means that the payment is processed, but the confirmation may arrive with a delay.
Yes, you can also use automatic payments on the AmberOne motorway A1 Gdańsk-Toruń and A4: Katowice-Kraków where the videotolling system is in operation.
Autopay also operates sections of state motorways under the e-TOLL system. If the government decides to reinstate tolls on these routes, Autopay will also be available there.
In addition, Autopay enables the convenient purchase of vignettes for Austria, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland and Hungary, as well as the possibility to buy tickets for bridges and tunnels in Austria.
The cost depends on the plan:
